Justin Bieber 'Smoking Weed' Photos Spark Morbid 'Cutting for Bieber' Twitter Hoax, Sparks Disturbing Fan Response and Outrage

Photos recently surfaced online of pop megastar Justin Bieber allegedly smoking weed with a group of friends at an L.A. hotel party - and such shady images have sparked an outrageous social media/networking outcry. In response to the alleged "Justin Bieber smoking marijuana" photos, hoaxers posing as fans started an online campaign entitled "Cutting for Bieber" and started posting several (supposedly) fabricated gruesome self-harm images. Unfortunately the morbid prank began trending on Twitter as #CutForBieber and #CuttingForBieber, with many loyal fans taking the social media hoax seriously and posting their own images of slashed wrists, blades, and blood.
