David Letterman is winding down his legendary position as the Late Show host. Before handing the torch over to Stephen Colbert, Letterman is having a slew of A-list guests on the final episodes of his program. One such name will be the Dave Matthews Band. And now only will DMB be performing on the show, they will also reportedly perform a 45-minute set on what’s called Legends on Letterman. The mini-concert will air the day before their Late Show appearance, which is Friday, May 8. Looks like this coming summer is gearing up to be pretty great, especially for fans of Dave Matthews Band. The famed jam band just announced their 2015 summer tour schedule following the birthday of the noted frontman, Dave Matthews, and the release of the oh, so epic (and kind of confusing) slap fight video between the DMB frontman and Rockbridge Guitar Company head honcho Brian Calhoun. Christmas is here, and the Dave Matthews Band is wishing us all a Happy Holiday season via their Instagram account. If you’ve been following the band’s account you realize the recently finished up their 2014 Summer Concert tour, where they introduced the now-famous #DMB2Sets. Now that they have some time on their hands they’re onto some holiday wishes! That, and having frontman Dave Matthews get his face slapped to hell via his friend Brian Calhoun – owner of Rockbridge Guitar Company. In a new video out from Rockbridge Guitar Company, the company that made one of the Dave Matthews Band frontman’s many guitars, the famed musician and guitar-maker go face-to-face in an INTENSE slap fight that has seemed to have gone on for quite some time, perhaps even through DMB’s 2014 Summer Concert Tour, where they unveiled the now famous two-set concerts – one acoustic set comprised of the band followed by a rocking set, which crowds are used to seeing.
