Steven Moffat is responsible for two very popular British TV series that are pretty far from each other in terms of subject matter, but that might change according to a farfetched idea from the executive producer. Considering Steven Moffat is the showrunner for two very popular niche genre TV series in Britain, it's hard not to compare the two - especially considering the leads he writes for. With Sherlock and Doctor Who on his resume and Benedict Cumberbatch and Peter Capaldi starring in these shows respectfully, are there any obvious parallels between the characters?
