Back in 2012, the Hollywood "Black List" was released, naming the best scripts being developed for the big screen and at the top of that list was Draft Day. So two years later the film is being released (April 11, 2014) and it even has Kevin Costner leading the cast. Rajiv Joseph and Scott Rothman wrote the script with Ivan Reitman directing.
