Earlier today, we compiled a list of 5 actors we thought could replace Andrew Garfield as the new Spider-Man after the recent Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios partnership to bring Peter Parker to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now, reports are circulating that two of the actors on our list (and many other lists) have allegedly been approached by the studios to read for the part. According to reports, Dylan O'Brien and Logan Lerman are the top contenders to be cast as Spider-Man in a 2017 stand-alone film and other Marvel Phase 3 films.
