Before Ronda Rousey graced the UFC with 14 second wins there was one Queen of Fight. That woman is Sonya Blade. Ed Boon, Mortal Kombat's creator, announced to the Twitterverse Thursday that Sonya will be returning to the series in Mortal Kombat X. While Rousey is already looking for greener pastures outside UFC, the original queen shall continue severing spines and cracking the chin of underworld demons with precise kicks. The announcement came with a trailer letting fans know Sonya won't be alone. It turns out the Special Forces veteran also has a close knit family – as dysfunctional as they may be. Joining Sonya will be her ex-husband Johnny Cage and their daughter Cassie. In between blows the former couple is seen arguing in front of the blind swordsman Kenshi and a legion of other Special Forces officers. When it comes to saving the world there's no room for couples therapy. The introduction of Cassie seems to be the biggest surprise in the Cage Family trailer.
