GOP staffer Elizabeth Lauten posted a disturbing Facebook post that went viral this past weekend about President Barack Obama's daughters Sasha and Malia. The staffer is now set to resign. Lauten told NBC News by phone Monday, Dec. 1, that her resignation is already "in the works." Lauten, the communications director for U.S. Rep. Stephen Fincher, R-Tenn., has since deleted her controversial post, but screen shots of her words remain. "Dear Sasha and Malia," the shamed staffer wrote. "I get you're both in those awful teen years, but you're a part of the First Family, try showing a little class. At least respect the part you play. Then again your mother and father don't respect their positions very much, or the nation for that matter, so I'm guessing you're coming up a little short in the 'good role model' department." The congressional aide worker continued to take jabs at the 16- and 13-year-old first daughters this past Thanksgiving weekend, saying "rise to the occasion.
