Meg Ryan is set to join the cast as the narrator for the new CBS series How I Met You Dad. She will star as the future version of main character Sally played by actress Greta Gerwig. Ryan will star in a similar position to that which Bob Saget had in the original series. Saget played the future version of main character Ted, who viewers never saw but could tell it was Saget by his trademark voice. How I Met Your Mother came to a end this week and though we said good-bye to Ted and his gang of friends, we can look forward to Sally and her pals in the spinoff series, How I Met Your Dad. Greta Gerwig stars as the female counterpart of Ted Mosby and we can expect some great TV when it hits the small screen.
