A mashup of "The Hobbit" and "The Office" on "Saturday Night Live"? Count us in. "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" hits theaters this Wednesday, Dec. 17, and with the final installment of Peter Jackson's "Hobbit" trilogy — based on J.R.R Tolkien's book — set to blow audience's minds, star Martin Freeman hosted "Saturday Night Live" and delivered a performance for the ages. Joined by "Boom Clap" star and musical guest Charli XCX, Freeman's performance as Bilbo Baggins in "The Office: Middle Earth" has everybody talking. On "SNL" this week, Freeman — self-described as "sort of a funny George Clooney" — hosted with confidence and took part in a range of terrific skits, including ones where he dusted off his "Fargo" accent to sell water beds and tried to marry to "Top Five" star Leslie Jones.
