The "supergroup" Atoms For Peace released their music video for their song "Ingenue" off of their debut album AMOK. The band consists of Thom York (Radiohead), Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Joey Waronker (Beck, R.E.M.), Nigel Godrich (Radiohead producer) and Mauro Refosco (Brazillian instrumentalist). "Ingenue" is a great example of the band's overall sound and how they came to it by "bonding over" Afrobeat music. The music video itself is a callback to Radiohead's "Lotus Flower" video featuring Thom York convulsively dancing by himself to the track. Even the "Lotus Flower" choreographers, Garth Jennings and Wayne McGregor, return for "Ingenue." This time, though, we are treated to another dancer, Fukiko Takase, joining Yorke. Read More »
