News broke earlier this month that Ex Machina breakout star Alicia Vikander had dropped out of the Assassin's Creed movie, starring her real-life boyfriend Michael Fassbender, which has a release date set for December 21, 2016. Though we'll surely miss this actress in the film, Fox has already replaced her with the Award-winning starlet Ariane Labed, who will portray a female Assassin in the movie adaptation of the popular Ubisoft video game. Last week, Ubisoft and New Regency announced that the highly anticipated movie adaptation of the popular video game franchise Assassin's Creed had officially gone into production. With filming starting soon, we knew that it was only a matter of time before more cast members joined leading man Michael Fassbender in the 2016 film.
