It’s being reported that famed director Mike Nichols, the man who made films such as The Graduate (1967), The Birdcage (1996), and Closer (2004), has died at the age of 83. As the husband to former ABC World News Tonight anchor Diane Sawyer, Nichols was often noted for not only his films but also his material on Broadway. His resume in both fields left him as one of the few people in the industry able to win nearly every “big” award around: Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony. Read More »
