A couple weeks ago, "MStars News" learned that Yung Berg was being fired from the hit VH1 show "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend Masika Kalysha. Now the reality show's executive producer, Mona Scott-Young, has revealed that she was sad and upset about letting Berg go. "MStars News" previously revealed that Berg was let go in a VH1 statement that read: "Based on the severity of the allegations against Yung Berg, VH1 is terminating its relationship with him in connection with "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood," effective immediately." After finally letting violent cast members go, including Benzino from "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta," Mona Scott-Young says the network and production team's decision to let Berg go was a bit sad. "Listen, like I said, I know that emotions get the best of them. I was not there so I can't speak to exactly what led to that. I know that he does feel badly that it did happen," Mona said in an interview with Vlad TV. "Unfortunately, the network decided that was an absolute position that they had to take," she continued. "Berg is such a talented artist and I wish him all the best. I hope that the time that he spent on the franchise he's managed to leverage it and that it serves him. He was great. I will miss him ... I loved his personality. I loved his sense of humor. I think he was a great addition to the show." Read More »

It has truly been one sad week in the world of entertainment, as fans, friends and family mourn the loss of Kelly Rowland's mother Miss Doris Rowland Garrison and Todd Tucker's mother Miss Sharon. "MStars News" previously learned that both died Tuesday, Dec. 2. Miss Sharon died in NYC from a fatal stroke, as Miss Doris died at the age of 66 in Atlanta a few days after her birthday from an unknown illness that she had been battling for some time now. Though little is known about Rowland's mother, the singer did share a touching message about Miss Doris back in 2008. According to HNGN, Rowland revealed a sweet message about her mother and Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles on Mother's Day: Dear Momma and Mama T, God must have thought I was really special to give me two mothers. Momma, I remember when you'd clap your hands and listen as I sang along every week to the theme song for the show "Amen." You'd look at me like I was the sun and the moon and say, "Sing up, baby ... a little louder." It meant so much that you believed in me. When we had rough times in Houston, you did your best to balance our family with your job as a live-in nanny. And I know it was difficult for you to run me back and forth for rehearsals after I joined Destiny's Child. I spent a lot of nights at the Knowleses' house. Soon a month turned into a year, then years. You came by every day, though, and cooked dinner, and we'd all eat as a family. Monday night, Nov. 24, was an awkward night for the viewers and cast of "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood." Last night viewers watched some breakups, weird hookups and even weirder new romances. One possible new relationship viewers saw was Fizz and Miss Nikki Baby! Yep, you heard us right. After they both ended their ties with their exes, Amanda Secor and Mally Mall, Teairra Mari decided to play matchmaker and hook these two up. No one saw this hook-up coming, but Fizz claims he's done with his cheating girlfriend Amanda Secor and doesn't want to deal with drama from his baby mama Moniece Slaughter. Miss Nikki Baby claims she was leaving Mally Mall's cheating ways behind as well. In last night's episode, Fizz said: "I've been going through a lot with the women in my life, but now that Amanda's completely out of the picture, it's time to have a little fun." He continued, "No more drama, just back to the player Fizzo." After Mari introduces the two, Fizz decides to take matters into his own hands and plans a one-on-one date with him and Miss Nikki at X Bar in Los Angeles. Fizz and Nikki hit off on their first date and make a toast to "new beginnings." "Dreux is so adorable I'm ready to leave Mally in the past and finally start fresh," Nikki claimed. "Maybe a little playtime with Dreux is what I need to move on." The former B2K singer and Nikki got to know each other and got deeper into conversation as they sat in a romantic lounge area. Nikki claimed that the fact that because Fizz tried to be in a serious relationship with Secor, she could respect him. She explained in the clip below that knowing Fizz was in a boy band and dealt with "groupies and hoes," he tired to settle down with one girl. Fizz claimed his son is his first priority and asked Nikki if she likes kids. As for Nikki accepting little Kameron, Fizz warned her that his baby mama Moniece chimes in places where she's not supposed to, and that added drama to his relationship with Amanda. Will Nikki be OK with Moniece, or will she play Fizz's heart strings for now as fun? Another relationship to look out for is Ray J and Teairra Mari.
