Diem Brown 'MTV Real World Challenge' Funeral: Family, Friends Pay Respect; Trisha Yearwood Performs

Beloved "MTV Real World & Road Rules Challenge" star Diem Brown was laid to rest today, Nov. 18. A memorial service for the 34-year-old reality star, who lost her long battle with cancer last Friday, was held earlier today in New York City. Family and friends of Diem came to pay their respects to the star in an elegant and moving service. According to "People," the service was held at the Church of St. Francis Xavier in Downtown Manhattan and was presided over by the church's own the Rev. Peter Fink and Pastor Kane Keatinge from Hillsong Church. The ceremony brought together Brown's family and friends, including her younger sister Megan and her longtime friend and "E! News" correspondent Alicia Quarles. "Diem loved hard, lived hard and danced hard," Brown's sister said in her emotional speech. "My mom always said that Diem came out fighting since Day 1." "Diem was the happiest person I know," Alicia explained in her eulogy. "Till her last breath, she never gave up. I can't even explain to you her divinity." The "E! News" reporter also invited her friend and award-winning country singer Trisha Yearwood to perform at the service.
