Carl Froch Eyeing Gennady Golovkin & Julio Cesar Chavez Jnr

By Kenneth Brown | Dec 01, 2014 03:38 PM EST

Carl Froch has quietly and patiently waited around since he devastatingly knocked George Groves out earlier this year. However, with the end of his career admittedly in sight, and a long wait before he's likely to step into the ring, are his options slowly diminishing? He has insisted he has no interest in a third straight bout with Groves, and that he'd retire before fighting fellow British boxer James DeGale. He has insisted he would love to fight Julio Cesar Chavez Jnr, and he's hinted he'd fight Gennady Golovkin. With time running out, just who will the super middleweight champion of the world decide to fight, or will he call it quits for good? Read More »

James DeGale ready for George Groves and Carl Froch?

By Kenneth Brown | Nov 22, 2014 08:17 PM EST

James DeGale and George Groves have had busy weeks to say the least. The pair had a row this week, and then they both went toe-to-toe with different opponents on the same night. With both figters winning, could they now face one another in 2015? Carl Froch, who both fighters want to box, was working ringside, and he admitted, if they fight in 2015, he will take on the winner, maybe, leaving everything up in the air once again. The super middleweight division looks set to take off higher than ever, but Groves must beat Anthony Dirrell to become the champion if these bouts are to become a reality. The stars have had their say, though. Read More »

James DeGale- world title on the way?

By Kenneth Brown | Nov 13, 2014 03:21 PM EST

James DeGale believes he is heading towards a world title, but that doesn't mean he's prepared to start slacking off. The world title contender has already earned himself a shot at Carl Froch, or his vacant title if he chooses to opt out of the fight, but he's not prepared to sit and wait around. Soon enough he will step in to the boxing ring to fight Marco Antonio Periban, and then he's happy to fight Froch, George Groves or whoever stands in his way from world boxing domination in 2015. He has a secret weapon, however, and that's a military-boxing based training camp, but will that be enough to push him the full distance? Read More »

By Kenneth Brown | Oct 26, 2014 12:32 PM EDT

Carl Froch delivered a devastating knockout to George Groves at Wembley Stadium, and it's safe to say he has earned the right to do whatever he wants, and he's living by that right. The world champion boxer has laughed off the idea of a rematch with Groves and he has laughed off the idea of fighting James DeGale. He'll retire if he fails to get a bout against Gennady Golovkin or Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. The British boxer wants a Las Vegas showdown, and if not it appears he'll walk away before risking his legacy in a domestic battle. By Kenneth Brown | Oct 17, 2014 01:40 PM EDT

Carl Froch and James DeGale could of stepped in to the ring with one another, but it seems Froch has little to no interest in the boxing bout. The IBF and WBA super-middleweight champion has ripped in to his domestic rival, insulting him, and ruling out their possible showdown in the process. Froch has revealed he'd retire before bothering to get out of bed to train for a DeGale bout. The champion wasn't coy, either. Read More »

The boxing world is set to explode, and it's got little to do with money. Carl Froch, Amir Khan, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr and Floyd Mayweather Jr all have millions of dollars to spare, as proven with Floyd's recent trip to a L.A. strip club, however, it seems for once, their fights are about their opponents, and the locations only. Will these blockbuster bouts take place, and if not, will champions Froch and Mayweather simply accept that they'd rather face retirement than another meaningless fight? Read More »
