Just a day after industrial band Nine Inch Nails announced the title of its new album, released a new single and announced its Fall tour dates, guitarist Adrian Belew has reportedly left the band. creating a variety of unusual sounds, a quality that meshes with Nine Inch Nails tendency towards organized chaos. Reznor had cited Belew as important in the decision to reform Nails earlier this year. "I was working with Adrian Belew on some musical ideas," he said in a statement, "which led to some discussion on performing, which led to some beard-scratching, which (many steps later) led to the decision to re-think the idea of what Nine Inch Nails could be, and the idea of playing a show." Trent Reznor has announced that Nine Inch Nails will release a new studio album - the first since 2008's The Slip - sometime this year on their new label, Columbia Records. Back in 2009, Reznor and the rest of Nine Inch Nails took part in a farewell tour, which would serve as the last time he would perform under his iconic moniker. Fortunately for fans, Reznor has decided to come back to Nine Inch Nails with a new tour and new album, putting his film-scoring career on hold for now. Read More »
