William Hurt Responds to Sarah Jones' 'Midnight Rider' Death

In the movie that would've been Midnight Rider, actor William Hurt portrayed Gregg Alman. The fate of the movie was sealed after the tragic death of camera assistant Sarah Jones on the set of the project, during a scene that took place on train tracks. Minutes before a train crashed through the film set and killed Jones, Hurt was filmed lying down on the tracks for a dream sequence from director Randall Miller.
