Tom Holland's Spider-Man Screen-Tested with 'Avengers' for Role!

We're pretty excited about Marvel and Sony finally casting their new Spider-Man for the Marvel Cinematic Universe after months of rumors, but how did the studios decide on 19-year-old Tom Holland? Well, according to new reports, Holland blew the producers away in some secret screen-tests with Avengers and MCU stars Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans, who he'll appear alongside of in Captain America: Civil War via a cameo role before his own solo reboot film in 2017, directed by Jon Watts. We've heard a number of names already associated with the upcoming Marvel and Sony Pictures Spider-Man reboot, which includes multiple Cinematic Universe appearances and a standalone film.
