'Captain Phillips' Director To Take Over Stephen King's 'The Stand'

There has been confusion over who will be the person to adapt Stephen King's The Stand into a film. First, Ben Affleck was scheduled to take on the project, but he later backed out so that he could play Batman in the sequel to Man Of Steel (we'll see if that was the right decision).
