Beyonce gave one of the most memorable Super Bowl performances of all time in 2013 and she is now reportedly returning for an epic performance with Coldplay! The two mega performers are set to rock the stage for the halftime concert in February.
Coldplay was officially announced as the halftime performer about a month ago, and sources told Entertainment Tonight that Beyonce will, in fact, be joining them on stage.
"Are you kidding me? It's the greatest moment of our band's life. We're going to give it everything we have," Coldplay frontman Chris Martin promised.
The Super Bowl stage has been a venue for epic collaborations. Beyonce initially headlined the highly-anticipated halftime show with her Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. And now, she will be sharing the world’s biggest stage with the rock band.
Last year, Katy Perry’s half time show had fans screaming at the top of their lungs as Missy Elliott and Lenny Kravitz appeared on stage to join her for an insane performance.
It was previously announced that Bruno Mars might also appear with Chris Martin and the boys. He and the Red Hot Chili Peppers collaborated at halftime in 2014.
Although it's unclear exactly what Beyonce will sing or how long she will be on stage with the Coldplay guys, many speculated they will deliver a live rendition of "Hymn for the Weekend," which appears on the band's latest album.
Super Bowl 50 will unfold at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday, February 7, airing live on CBS.
