After 'Dilwale' Shah Rukh Khan to Star in Gauri Shinde's Film With Alia Bhatt?

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan again won the heart of his millions of fans by his performance in romantic-action Dilwale. Now in 2016, the King Khan of Bollywood has several projects lined up. The star will appear in Raees and Fan and now Khan officially announced that he will be starring with Alia Bhatt in director Gauri Shinde's next film.

The 50-year-old Khan will share screen space with 22-year-old Bhatt in Shinde's next directorial venture. However, his role with the Student of the Year actress is for a short period. It is also being said that he is not the main protagonist in English Vinglish director's film. There were earlier reports that Khan will do the cameo for Shinde but at Stardust Awards ceremony, Bhatt refuted the rumors and stated that Khan is very much in the film, both as a producer as well as an actor. The work with Khan is like a dream come true for Bhatt.

The actress was quoted by FilmiBeat as responding:

"He's in the film. I am doing the film with him. Don't take it away from me."

In an exclusive interview with PinkVilla, Khan, who just started shooting the second schedule of Raees said that he has an important role in Shinde's next film with Bhatt.

"I Iike working with women, so I am doing Gauri Shinde's film with Alia Bhatt as my co-star. That is not a typical love story or a hero role but I find Gauri's filmmaking interesting. I may have a lesser part to be not in terms of timing on screen but as a lover but it's an interesting role."

FilmiBeat also reported that after the commercial success of English Vinglish, this would be Shinde's next film, that will follow the struggle of girl.

The untitled film will follow the story of a young girl who meets three different men in her life and with every relationship, she understands her life a little better. The film is scheduled to go into production at the end of this month.
