The music video by T-Series "Dheere Dheer Se" featuring Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan and fashionista Sonam Kapoor has crossed 100 million views on video-sharing site YouTube. The video song was published on Sept. 1, 2015 from the official T-Series channel on YouTube.
The romantic number is a recreated version of the popular song "Dheere Dheere" from 1990 superhit musical film, Aashiqui starring Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal. T-Series head Bhushan Kumar broke the news to the media that Roshan-Kapoor's "Dheere Dheere Se" has become the first Hindi song to achieve this mark. Kumar was quoted by Indian Express as stating:
"We are super excited about 'Dheere dheere...' having reached 100 million views. It's the first time ever that a Hindi single song has reached this number which no Bollywood song also has been able to achieve. We at T-Series have pioneered many new trends in music from the inception and I am happy that once again, we have created a whole new market for music in India."
The song is sung by Indian rapper, Yo Yo Honey Singh and is entirely shot in Antalya, Turkey. The song is liked by many fans of Roshan; many have missed his dance moves.
Roshan thanked his fans and T-Series team when the song crossed 20 million and 50 million views. And like every time, he posted a picture of himself and Kapoor on his Twitter handle with a caption: "Alchemy of love. V gave a simple thing love n it turned to gold. Congratulations entire team 4creating history."
