Angela Simmons of 'Growing Up Hip Hop' Slays The Cover of 'Kontrol' Magazine w/ Style & Grace

The unstoppable Angela Simmons is off to a great start in 2016. Not only does she have a brand new series airing on WeTv Growing Up Hip-Hop, she has also landed on the cover of Kontrol Magazine as the "multi-tasking maven." This entrepreneur, actress and Hip-Hop heiress slays the cover with style and grace. Check out the photos below!

Angela Simmons is in full "control" as she is the face of the Winter 2016 Women of Style issue of Kontrol Magazine donning a burgundy leather jacket and flattering black leggings with flawless bundles to set it off. Kontrol refers the cultural icon as the "multi-tasking maven, a fitting title for the actress, producer, and businesswoman.

The 28-year-old has achieved massive success as a businesswoman that started in 2007 with the launch of her "Pastry" shoe line with sister, Vanessa Simmons. Since then, Simmons has ran her own magazine Angela's Rundown, and made her mark in the fashion industry with the "Foofi" faux fur line, named after her dog. She is also solidified her fashion expertise by graduating from the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).

How does she do it all? Her response is simple, she shared with Kontrol that "It's all about time management and doing what you have to do...you make a decision that this is what's got to get done and get right to it..."

"Angela Simmons is nothing short of amazing and exceptional. She is a self-described and proven master multitasker and all around great person. Whereas being in business and the entertainment industry can dim one's outlook on life, this lovely lady has let her own inner light and great work ethic build brands that reach millions," Kontrol Magazine.

In her latest design project, Simmons proudly displays her handiwork for the Harlem Globetrotters new line of uniforms on her Instagram page.

Angela Simmons has been in the spotlight most of her life because of her father Joseph Simmons (Rev. Run of RUN-D.M.C.), the Hip-Hop legend. However, in recent years, Angela Simmons has been determined to build her own brand, making a name for herself independently of her father's shadow. This unyielding drive to build her own empire is the basis for her new show on WeTv, Growing Up Hip Hop, which she also co-produces.

Fans can get a glimpse into what life is like for Simmons who lives each day pulling off the ultimate balancing act. Tune in Thursdays at 10pm.
