Patti LaBelle Bombshell! Songstress Dating Much Younger Man, Eric Seats

Age is nothing but a number if you ask diva, Patti LaBelle. MStars News has learned that the 71-year-old songstress is dating a much younger man, Eric Seats.

According to Philly.com, LaBelle is dating her 41-year-old drummer. Instead of making headlines for her famous sweet potato pies, LaBelle's cougar status will probably be the new trending topic this week.

The media outlet claimed that LaBelle has been dating Seats for about 18 months. "She tried to keep it quiet, but everyone around her has figured things out now. She's completely smitten with him and they spend so much time together," a source said.

Seats has also made moves from Los Angeles to be with the singer on the east coast.

According to Hello Beautiful, the couple met when Seats landed a job as her drummer several years ago. He has an impressive resume touring with music legend's like Stevie Wonder, Mary J. Blige, Timbaland and Missy Elliott. 

So what do they have in common with such a huge age gap? "He made her feel at ease and she loved that he had such a vast experience working in the music business," a source explained.
