It seems like Mackenzie Mckee's battle with diabetes is getting tougher and tougher for the young mom. The Teen Mom 3 and 16 & Pregnant star was rushed to the hospital for a diabetic spike on Wednesday night, January 3.

According to TMZ, the 21-year-old had been vomiting for hours before she tested her blood sugar with a home kit, at which point she discovered that it was extremely high.

Her family decided that she needed to get to a hospital at 10 p.m. and the doctors performed all of the necessary procedures to stabilize McKee's blood sugar levels.

"Her mom and husband Josh rushed her to a hospital Wednesday night near their home in Miami, Oklahoma," a source told the gossip site. "We're told she was violently throwing up all night."

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time McKee had troubles stabilizing her blood sugar levels. The reality star previously blamed a car accident on her condition.

The mother-of-two has been living a healthy lifestyle and is keeping her body really fit as she loves to compete in body building competitions. She is taking these competitions very seriously to the point that it could very well be the main factor of her recent health scare.

She is reportedly training really hard for the next competition and her body may not have been able to handle the additional stress.

The reality star most recently competed at the Grand Prix Championship bodybuilding competition in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

McKee suffers from Type 1 Diabetes. The condition forced her to have a c-section when she gave birth to daughter Jaxie on February 7, 2014, after her blood sugar levels continued to drop.
