Celebrity Big Brother might have just started but it seems that one of the contestants has already decided to leave the reality TV show house. While the contestants have very little connection to the outside world, during the tragic death last week of David Bowie, his wife Angie Bowie, who is a contestant on the series, was told of the news of her ex-husband's passing and decided to leave the house.
According to Radar Online, the star's ex was told of his passing after it happened, but decided to try her best to stay on the show, but it seems that an illness following the sad news has gotten the best of her and she has left the UK reality show. The star originally had the plan of staying, but when she fell ill shortly after hearing the news, she decided that it would be best if she just headed home.
The show released a statement, via E! News of her plans before she left the house saying, "She has taken the decision to continue in the programme. The decision to remain in the house is entirely her choice, and she has been given the option to leave at any time [if] she changes her mind. Appropriate support will be available to Angie at any time if needed."

Inside Edition reported that the star didn't have much contact with her former lover prior to his death, but that she was very upset by the news, which was visible in the previous episode of the British series.
"I haven't seen him for so many years," the wife of the star mentioned in her confessional, adding, "I can't make a big drama out of it. I just feel like an era has ended with his passing. I'm so very sad."
While contestants aren't allowed to have contact with the outside world, she did confide in John Partridge and David Guest, saying, "Stardust is gone."
