This year's Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice marks the first entry of a major DC Movie Universe, thinking beyond individual superheroes for one larger project. Among the coming films, there's one planned 2017 adaptation of The Flash, starring Ezra Miller as Barry Allen. Now the concept art has been released along with more info!

Last Tuesday's DC Films Presents: The Dawn of the Justice League on the CW brought comic book fans a lot to ponder, with many new tidbits about the upcoming films of the DC Cinematic Universe. Among these, The Flash, currently also a television show on the channel, also got its day in the sun.

According to Cinema Blend, Warner Bros. has just released the first look of how the character will be presented in the upcoming films, and it's fairly true to the way the Scarlet Speedster has been in the comic books for decades.

The site compares the new suit to the one Barry Allen's alter ego wears in the Injustice: Gods Among Us video game.

In any case, IGN reports that Miller has also spoken a little about bringing the super-fast superhero to life, teasing about the possibility of The Flash running so fast he can actually go quantum, traveling through time as well as space.

"He's been struck by lightning, that's the mythos," says Miller. "But he's a human. He can run through walls. He can run across water. He can run so fast that he can move into another plain of frequency where there's another reality."

This year, DC has two major releases: Dawn of Justice and the villain-filled Suicide Squad, which will introduce characters like The Joker (Jared Leto) and Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) to the DC Universe. The characters' stand-alone films will begin after 2017's Justice League Part I.
