Jena Malone, who starred as Johanna Mason in the successful Hunger Games franchise, annoucned she is pregnant. This will be the first child for the 31-year-old Inherent Vice actress. The baby’s father is her boyfriend, musician and photographer Ethan DeLorenzo.
Malone made the announcement via an Instagram post of her cradling her baby bump with the message "Womb to womb, to beating wing, I climb out of the eternal and into the shape of me. Some words I wrote years ago when I was thinking about my own mother. And the woman she was when she had me. And the woman I was reaching to become." Ironically, Malone won legal emancipation from her mother back in 2000 when she was just 15.
The Golden Globe nominee for the TV movie Hope added to her post, "The shape your desires make out of you. The body you have become to hold your dreams. It's with two feet firmly on the ground and a heart swelling in an ocean of love that I'd like to share the new shape I am becoming to hold the greatest dream of them all #babybump #newparents."

Needless to say, the photo of the expected mother cradling her baby bump was taken by DeLorenzo, whom Malone referred to as her “beautiful hearted baby daddy.” She also recently posted a photo of the two of them snuggling with the caption “Head over heels. Literally. With my one and only.”
Malone will of course appear in Zack Snyder’s upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice as Barbara Gordon opposite Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill. Her other future projects include Lovesong with Riley Keugh which opens next week at Sundance, Things You Missed While You Were Gone with Shane West to be released later this year and Bottom of the World, a mystery thriller which is currently in post-production. She is also in pre-production on Claire, a romantic dramedy with Hope Davis.
