MStars News has been keeping up with Harris and his family since he was found guilty of drug trafficking back in April 2015. Harris, who is married to his Love and Hip Hop New York co-star, Yandy Smith, was sentenced to eight years behind prison walls.
According to TMZ, the 37-year-old has already served 15 months behind bars, so he will be out less than seven years from now. With good behavior, Harris might have a chance for early release. Barring that however, Fameolous is reporting the father-of-four will reunite with his family on November 28, 2021.
The infamous gossip site TMZ also claims that the Federal Correctional Institution Allenwood in Pennsylvania where Harris is serving out his time isn't a bad place. They revealed that Harris and other prisoners actually are getting a nice treatment; watching TV and eating a different meal everyday on an 8 week rotating schedule.
MStars News previously learned that Harris had requested to serve out his time closer to his family. His youngest child, and only daughter, Skylar Smith Harris will celebrate her first birthday this month without her father being present. One has to wonder if he was as concerned about the impact on his family before being caught engaging in drug trafficking activities.

Before turning himself in on January 19, Harris enjoyed some time with family and friends. Harris also took a trip to Disney World with his family.

Despite his past, Harris claimed that he has learned from his mistakes. In a recent statement, the reality star encouraged other men to make sure they were stepping up and raising their young sons to become positive members of society, and good role models for their own family.
