Mendeecees Harris Sends Special Message to Daughter Skylar Smith Before Prison Sentence

Before he goes away to prison for eight years on drug trafficking charges, Mendeecees Harris decided to share a special message to the youngest of his children – his only daughter, Skylar Smith.

In the video seen below, the father of four told his baby girl, whose not even a year old yet, "Dear Skylar, I always wanted a girl first. I always prayed for you," he said. Harris added that he was his daughter's protector and that there was no other man or anybody else on earth that was going to love her more.

Harris told his little girl, who turns one in January that he "wanted the best" for her. Harris said that he wanted to be everything that she needed in her life. He told little Skylar that he was her "best friend, her dad, a shoulder to cry on, and a hand to hold."

The star also praised his wife, Yandy Smith. He claimed that Skylar had the best role model to look up to. The Love and Hip Hop New York star said that he would be "grateful" if his daughter turned out to be like her mother.

Harris admitted that he feel in love with his wife because she was different then what he was use to in a woman. Harris hopes that his daughter would also continue her mother's legacy and become a successful, classy woman when she grows up.

How sweet! Tear, we need a tissue.

Little Skylar will more than likely be eight years old when her dad is released from prison.

MStars News previously reported that the reality star was found guilty of transporting drugs in the New York area. Harris' brother, along with another man were also involved and are currently behind bars.
