Some fans may still be unhappy with Ezra Miller being cast as the big-screen Barry Allen for the upcoming DC films which includes Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and The Flash solo movie. After all, Grant Gustin has been doing a great job as the Scarlet Speedster in the CW TV show. However, it looks like there is a chance that the two versions of The Flash might actually meet in a TV/movie multiverse crossover!

At least, that's what Kevin Smith says. ComicBook.com reports that the host of DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League has admitted that he also recorded a segment with DC Comics Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns that was cut out from the special. What exactly did they discuss in the deleted segment? Smith revealed during his Fat Man on Batman podcast that he and Johns discussed the possibility of a crossover for TV and movie, where the CCO may have confirmed it could happen.

"We did a piece where we talked about -- I don't know how much I'm supposed to say because they cut it out, but the idea [came up] of, 'Hey man, DC is known for nothing if not a multiverse,' so at which point I was like, 'Could they f--king crossover?' And [Johns] was like, 'Ahh.' So doors are being left open and stuff like that," Smith said.

Smith may not be the only one looking forward to a possible crossover. Miller has previously spoken up about wanting to meet Gustin's Flash so they could have a friendly race. The Perks of Being a Wallflower star said that it is possible for more than just one Barry Allen to exist, since it is a parallel universe.

Would you like to see Miller and Gustin race each other in a future DC film or TV show? Let us know in the comments.
