'RHOA' Star Nene Leakes Attends Former Enemy Kenya Moore's Birthday Dinner

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is always packed with drama and unexpected surprises. This season many viewers thought it would not include the housewife who has been with the franchise the longest, Nene Leakes. Many people were shocked to see that Leakes has returned to the show, and not only that, but she seems to have buried the hatchet with her former enemies. We have recently learned that Leakes is doing more than extending an olive branch by hanging out with her former enemies and even attending her former arch nemesis Kenya Moore's birthday dinner.

Leakes previously swore up and down that she would not be returning to the show. Clearly the Broadway star has had a change of heart. Currently riding the wave of a change of heart Leakes has decided to put all the negativity from the last season with the ladies behind her. The housewife set the record straight in her latest Bravo Blog.

"When someone betrays you, it damages your trust and that's a very hard thing to get past," Leakes penned in her blog. "People who know me know that I move on! I don't try to fix broken pieces, although that was probably a bad thing. I'm a work in progress. It took a lot of prayer and long talks from loved ones in order for me to forgive and really do this with an open heart. So I felt like I was in a really good place in my life where I could start over with Cynthia and reconnect. I'm happy I did!"

Most viewers would have thought that Leakes would have had negative feelings towards her ex-best friend Cynthia Bailey's new friendship with Moore but it was the exact opposite. The Broadway star has seemed to really put the pettiness behind her as she posted a picture on Instagram of her hanging out with Sheree Whitfield and Bailey for Moore's birthday dinner.

Maybe Leakes' return to the show marks a new beginning of a budding friendship with her former foes. If you watch the show you know that the ladies are hot and cold. One day they are friends the next day they want to snatch each other's weaves.
