Netflix has released an all-new teaser for the upcoming Season 4 of House of Cards. Before the March premiere date, will audiences be asking themselves, "What are President Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) and Doug Stamper (Michael Kelly) looking for in Dig?
As we previously mentioned, Netflix released a teaser on the official House of Cards Twitter account. In the tweet, the caption states, "America deserves Frank Underwood. #FU2016" Notice how "FU" stands for Frank Underwood and also represents a naughty curse word. While sitting in the Oval Office, President Frank Underwood (Spacey) attempts to win over viewers, who also happen to be voters, of his humility and compassion. While echoing his triumphs as a political leader, Underwood also demonstrates his unbridled homicidal tendencies throughout the past three seasons.
According to Slash Film, Frank Underwood and Doug Stamper (Stamper) digging a hole in the middle of the woods. Though it seems like they're doing something suspicious, or maybe they really are, the camera then shows a crowd of voters cheering for them. Notice how Stamper is doing all of the heavy lifting, while Frank does nothing and just basks in the applause.
In an interview with Deadline, Stamper dishes on what's to come in the fourth season, "I was alive at the end of three, that's all I can say. I wouldn't be surprised if Beau [Willimon] was behind my bedroom door right now. I put nothing past him."
And as for surviving the past three seasons, the Man of Steel actor adds, "'It'll be written in such a way that I want everyone to go, What the f*ck is up with that guy?' We'll learn more about you in season two.' In season three Beau completely turned Doug on his head. I basically was playing a different character at times. I've never been so scared to take something on. I've never been so filled with doubt."
Season 4 of House of Cards will premiere on Netflix Friday, March 4.
