The release date of this year's proto-Avengers movie, Captain America: Civil War, is only a few months away, and the great confrontation between Cap and Iron Man is one of the most hyped movies of 2016. In case fans were still thinking this film was bound to be a disappointed, here's something to be excited about: it might be the best screen-tested Marvel Cinematic Universe movie so far!

According to Births Movies Death, the time nears for the film to go through a few reshoots (which always happens in MCU movies, so it's nothing to fret about), but it seems they won't have a lot more work to do. Why? Because so far, the fight between Marvel's two biggest superheroes is "testing exceptionally well."

The first people who have seen the highly awaited film are loving it, and for now Marvel's only concern is whether the movie's doing better or just as well as the last MCU movie to do great at screen testing: Captain America: The Winter Soldier. So kudos to director brothers Anthony and Joseph V. Russo, who helmed the second and third Cap movies!

The second installment of the Cap trilogy holds an 89 percent "Fresh" rating on critics' site Rotten Tomatoes, so if the sequel is just as good or better, fans can expect to see some true greatness next May. Of course, just as easily a studio exec at Disney could've leaked information regarding screen tests for the movie, so it might be wise to take this news with a grain of salt.

"After another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team," reads the upcoming film's synopsis, via Collider. "The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps -- one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark's surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability."
