It's been a year since the only daughter from Whitney Houston's marriage to Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina, was found unresponsive in her bathtub at her Georgia home, in a manner eerily similar to her mother's 2012 death. Brown ultimately died after being unconscious for half a year, and just last month, her family put her house up for sale, It's already found a buyer.
According to The Mirror, Brown's family has sold the property, an Atlanta townhouse that oddly didn't prove that hard to sell even though the 21-year-old was found near death there.
More accurately, the sale of the house is currently on "pending" status, weeks after it was priced at nearly half a million dollars ($469,000), though it's unclear whether that will be the final selling price. For now, a family member is living there.
"Krissy's Uncle Ray, Pat Houston's brother, lives there now," Brown's former neighbor, Debra Reis, told the press recently. "Maybe they just didn't want to leave it vacant. They cleaned it up and priced it low to sell. And it sold quickly."
One year after the incident that led to Brown's long hospitalization, the details surrounding her near-drowning are still confusing. The family is currently in the middle of a legal dispute with Brown's partner at the time, Nick Gordon, suing him for wrongful death. The heiress' father, Bobby, has even told the press about being in the process of creating a safe house for victims of domestic abuse.
Entertainment Tonight recently reported that Gordon is without legal representation in the case. His attorney, Bryant Green, withdrew from the case last year as he faces charges for $10 million over the death of the heiress. On the lawsuit, Brown's conservator, Bedelia C. Hargrove, claims the two had a "violent altercation" that ended with Gordon placing Brown on the bathtub where she was found.
