Even if it is not yet certain that there will be a Magic Mike 3, actor Channing Tatum cannot help but create his very own dream team. In a recent promotional interview for Hail, Caesar!,Tatum revealed that for him, there is a perfect actor to join the Magic Mike cast. Who would imagine Tatum would name his Hail, Caesar co-star, George Clooney, as the perfect addition? Well certainly not me, but it is a good idea.
Tatum came to this realization when a Yahoo interviewer asked him if he had tried asking Clooney to join a Magic Mike sequel. At first, both actors laughed while "confirming" Clooney's participation in a sequel which he cleverly subtitled Magic Mike: Take It To The Limit. Tatum then thought that it was not actually a bad idea and that he's willing to do anything just to have a dance sequence with Clooney.
Tatum even said, "I would probably cut my arms off to have you [in Magic Mike]. I would love to design a dance for you. I would get so excited. I wouldn't even know where to start."
Because of the Magic Mike XXL's not-so-successful release, there has been no news as to whether or not there will be a third film coming our way. But if George Clooney would get in the picture, there might be a change in opinion. George Clooney is 54-years-old but he's still in great shape. Though Clooney just laughed off Tatum's idea, he couldn't help but remark on how great a job he would do if ever he'd be in a Magic Mike film.
Do you agree with Clooney?
