The CW network continues with Season 2 of The Flash. While Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) is dealing with his previous confrontation between Zoom (voiced by Tony Todd), will the scarlet speedster need John Diggle (David Ramsey) to save from Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) from King Shark?

In our recent recap, Wally West needed Iris West (Candice Patton)'s help to deal with his mother's impending death. Because The Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) ruptured the timeline, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) was having seizures. The Flash had to send the Reverse-Flash back to his future in order to save Cisco. After learning his secret identity, Patty (Shantel VanSanten) left Central City, saying her own goodbye to Barry. Caitlin ended up meeting Jay's Earth-1 doppelgänger, Hunter Zolomon.

In our recent recap, after Harrison "Harry" Wells (Tom Cavangh) stole the scarlet speedster's power, he was unable to stop the shrapnel from hitting Iris. Harry confessed to everyone he was secretly working for Zoom. After hearing Harry's confession, Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) then gave him a beatdown and threw him into a cell. Knowing Harry's daughter is in danger, the Flash and the team are going with Harry to Earth-2.

As we mentioned before, Ramsey dished Cisco has something planned for Diggle, "Central City will be working on an upgrade to Diggle's helmet. That is yet to come, and we will be seeing some of that come out of Central City. As the first iteration came out of Central City, we will see an upgrade also come out. But in terms of Central City's help with technology to help us combat the magic, that has yet to be seen."

According to Comic Book Resources, the plot synopsis reveals, "When King Shark escapes from an A.R.G.U.S. holding tank, Lila (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) and Diggle (Ramsey) travel to Central City to warn The Flash (Gustin).  King Shark shows up at the West house and attacks Joe (Jesse L. Martin), Iris (Candice Patton), Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) and Barry."

The Arrow crossover episode, King Shark, is scheduled for Tuesday, February 23.

The Flash continues Season 2 on the CW Tuesdays at 8pm.
