Jaromir Jagr, NHL Legend, Blackmailed By Teen Model Who Took Racy Bedside Selfie

Jaromir Jagr is a hockey legend. At 43-years-old he's been playing in the NHL longer than some of the players in the league have been alive. And, what happens with all people as they age? They begin to care less and less about what others think. This rings true for Jagr, too, who was recently the victim of attempted blackmail.

An 18-year-old model reportedly slept with Jagr--or at least slept next too, you can probably fill in the blanks--then took a picture of the hockey superstar while he was still asleep. The image somehow made its way to social media--naturally--and that's when someone thought they could make some money out of it, threatening to release the image to the media unless Jagr pay them 50,000 crowns (about $2,000 U.S.).

The thing is, Jagr didn't care; not even a little. He told them to do with the picture what they wanted. Thusly, the image ended up being released to the media and shipped out to outlets all over the globe. A non-issue for Jagr, apparently, who is still a bachelor.

However, the same can't be said for the model taking the picture. She's reportedly in a committed relationship. Not just that, but she's in a relationship with a czech junior hockey player who idolizes Jagr. This could make for some uncomfortable pillow talk down the road.

Since the incident in question, however, Jagr has continued to keep on Jagr-ing. He attended the All Star game to appease fans--despite not having any real interest in attending--and has four points in his two games post All Star game with the Flordia Panthers, bringing his assist total to over 1,100 for his career.

At almost 44-years-old (less than 10 days now), it's safe to say the future hall of famer is still going strong--both on and off the ice.
