The CW network continues with Season 2 of The Flash. While Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) is dealing with his previous confrontation between Zoom (voiced by Tony Todd), will Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) discover the secret origin of Earth-2's Killer Frost?
In our previous recap, Wally West needed Iris West (Candice Patton)'s help to deal with his mother's impending death. Because The Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) ruptured the timeline, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) was having seizures. The Flash had to send the Reverse-Flash back to his future in order to save Cisco. After learning his secret identity, Patty (Shantel VanSanten) left Central City, saying her own goodbye to Barry. Caitlin ended up meeting Jay's Earth-1 doppelgänger, Hunter Zolomon.
In our recent recap, after Harrison "Harry" Wells (Tom Cavanagh)stole the scarlet speedster's power, he was unable to stop the shrapnel from hitting Iris. Hearing that Iris was in the hospital, Harry confessed to everyone that he was secretly working for Zoom. After learning Harry's confession, Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) then gave him a beatdown and threw him into a cell. Knowing Harry's daughter is in danger, the Flash and the team are going with Harry to Earth-2.
In a video interview with IGN, the Friday the 13th scream queen teased what's ahead for Caitlin Snow. Though we know her Earth 2 doppelgänger is her evil half, will Caitlin herself witness the arrival of her dark side? Is she destined to become Killer Frost?
As transcribed by Comic Book Movie, Panabaker answers, "I would love to see that. We jump into an already established Killer Frost with these two episodes when we go to Earth-2. The opportunity to develop that and see what that [origin] looks like -- if Caitlin from Earth-1 were to develop superpowers or become a metahuman, become Killer Frost, would be really fun to explore and see what it takes to 'turn her'."
The Flash continues Season 2 on the CW Tuesdays at 8pm.
