Created by executive producers Carlton Cuse (Lost) and Ryan J. Condal (Hercules), USA Network has released an all-new photo of Colony. In episode 5, are Will (Josh Holloway) and Katie Bowman (Sarah Wayne Callies) in danger from "Geronimo?"
As we previously mentioned, Colony is set in the near future of Los Angeles, after the invasion has taken over. There are those who collaborate and those who resist their new world order. Before a rebel terrorist attack ruined his plans, Will (Holloway) was trying to cross the wall, in order to find his missing son. Because Will was an FBI agent, Proxy Snyder (Peter Jacobson) offers Katie (Callies) and her husband a chance to find the leader of the resistance, in return for their missing child. Unbeknownst to her husband, as Will collaborates, Katie has actually been working for the resistance the entire time.
In our recent recap, though the resistance faked a fire bombing at her house, Katie found herself interrogated by Phyllis. With a clue from his son, Will had arrested Geronimo but he was not the resistance leader. With photos of her working with the resistance, Katie found herself compromised by Phyllis. Returning to her home, Phyllis and her husband were gunned down by Broussard (Tory Kittles).
In episode 5, in the aftermath of Phyllis (Baker)'s death, what will Snyder (Jacobson) do to exercise his power in court against the resistance leaders? The last words Phyllis said to Katie were, "You're working for me now." What did Phyllis leave behind in the last moments of her life?

In our MStars News interview, co-creator Ryan J. Condal discussed the nature of the USA drama, "It's the nature of things that can change and shift the show. You're always learning the rules of the of this world. People can come in and out of power, things can change. It just makes, I think, for a storytelling world that doesn't have an end to it."
Colony continues Thursdays at 10pm on USA Network.
Readers, are you excited for what's next Colony?
