In our previous report, Andrew Lincoln was very enthusiastic about the return of The Walking Dead Season 6 and admitted that five of his favorite episodes are in the second half of the season. However, it seems like the episode that will feature Jeffrey Dean Morgan's debut as Negan is not one of his favorites!
Entertainment Weekly has just revealed the 6 character covers of their latest issue, and the accompanying write-up features Lincoln's reaction to reading the script for the season finale.
"I felt sick to my stomach when I read the script," Lincoln admitted, adding that the sick feeling lasted for a long time.
"It was the first day in the whole six years of working on The Walking Dead that I was late for work because I woke up in the middle of the night and I couldn't get back to sleep," he said. "I was so angry and frustrated and I felt sick. And that was just after reading it."

But what could probably upset Lincoln so much in the season finale script? There is a possibility that it has a lot to do with Negan, whose unspeakable acts are some of the most disturbing scenes featured in the comic books. After all, the character was introduced in the 100th issue with the brutal killing of Glenn in front of Rick's group.

Does this mean that Morgan's introduction as Negan will also involve the violent death of Steven Yeun's character? Before you start cursing at the TWD producers, it's best to remember that the TV series hasn't been completely faithful to the comic books. Certain characters who have already been killed off in the comics still exist in the show (like Melissa McBride's Carol), so there is a possibility that a different member of Rick's group will end up falling victim to Negan's baseball bat Lucille.

Unfortunately, there is still the issue of having another character get killed off in the most brutal manner possible. There is little doubt that the show will sacrifice one of the characters to Negan. It will not be a pretty sight if it was bad enough to make Lincoln queasy.
The second half of The Walking Dead Season 6 begins on February 14.
