Aamir Khan and Salman Khan are two superstars from Bollywood whose films are going to be released this year. Aamir's Dangal and Salman's Sultan, both based on wrestling, are going to compete with each other at the box office but Aamir thinks that Salman's Sultan is indeed going to be a good film.
Ever since the makers of Dangal and Sultan announced the star cast in their respective films, fans started to compare the two feature films. Aamir who was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani's PK thinks that there is no competition between Dangal and Sultan. While attending an event in Mumbai, when a reporter asked Aamir about his views on Salman's upcoming film Sultan, Aamir humbly said that Sultan will be a good film. The Rang De Basanti actor was quoted by DNA India as responding:
"Salman's films are always very good. I have a lot of expectations from Sultan. I am sure it will be a good film. Like everyone, I also wait eagerly for his film."
It was earlier reported by Mstars News that in Sultan, Salman will play the role of a 40-year-old wrestler. The film will also star NH10 actress, Anushka Sharma, and the film is going to be a complete entertainer with romance, drama and a lot of Salman's action.
On the other hand, Aamir's Dangal is biographical sports drama film in which Aamir will be seen as wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, who coached wrestling to his daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat. It was earlier reported by NDTV Movies that for his role in Dangal, Aamir had to gain a lot of weight and at this moment, he weighs around 210 pounds.
"I am 95 kg (209.4 pounds) right now and that's enough for the character. My breathing has changed, when I tie my laces, my stomach comes in between. After 20 seconds, I have to (take a long) breath," Aamir said.
Salman's Sultan is slated for release around Eid 2016 whereas, Aamir's Dangal is scheduled for release around Christmas 2016.
