AMC aired the season premiere of Chris Hardwick's after-show, Talking Saul. This is the perfect opportunity to discuss the Breaking Bad Easter Eggs in Better Call Saul starring Bob Odenkirk as lawyer Saul Goodman aka Jimmy McGill.
In our recent recap, Jimmy rejected the job offer handed to him by Clifford Main (Ed Begley Jr) and decided to quit the law. Elsewhere, Mike (Jonathan Banks) predicted Daniel Warmolt (Mark Proksch) was going to get the wrong kind of attention from gangster Nacho (Michael Mando) because of his flashy Hummer. After Jimmy and Kim (Rhea Seehorn) swindled a day trader, the two ended up sleeping together. Realizing he couldn't stay in the swimming pool forever, Jimmy accepted the job from Main finally.

4) Ken, You Never Change!
The loudmouth day trader, Ken (Kyle Bornheimer), returns in this prequel and he's still the same jerk.. In Breaking Bad, after cutting him in line on a very bad day, Walter torched Ken's car when he wasn't looking. In Better Call Saul, Kim and Jimmy play a joke on Ken and ditch him with the expensive bill.
3) The Same Tequila!
You remember the blue tequila bottle, the $50 tequila shot, that Jimmy and Kim drank to. That's the same tequila brand Gustavo (Giancarlo Esposito) used to poison Don Eladio. It must not be very strong because Kim and Jimmy walked out of the restaurant pretty fine, with no hangover the next morning.

2) Red Means Trouble!
In Breaking Bad, "Pinkman" is a symbol for death. During the after-show, creator Peter Gould explained that the color red is important because it symbolizes something bad is supposed to happen. The flashy Hummer is draped in yellow and red tones, matching Daniel Warmolt's shoes and laces.
1) More Breaking Bad!
Wrapping up the talk show, creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould teases what's coming up the rest of the sophomore season. There's more Breaking Bad appearances you will just have to wait and see!
Better Call Saul continues Mondays 10pm, followed by Talking Saul at 11pm, on AMC.
