5 Celebrities Who Were Never Arrested But Like Bernie Sanders Could Have Been Handcuffed!

Believe it or not Bernie Sanders was once arrested.  Video footage has surfaced showing the 74-year Presidential candidate being taken away during a 1963 civil rights protest.  A black & white photograph of the incident was then found and confirmed to be authentic by the Sanders campaign.

The video of Sanders, who at the time was a 21-year-old University of Chicago student, was leaked on Vimeo by Kartemquin Films.  Its co-founder, Jerry Temaner, shot the footage at a demonstration to protest school segregation.  Researchers at the Chicago Tribune then uncovered a photo from the event that show's Sanders' face more clearly.     

"Bernie identified it himself." said Sanders' senior campaign advisor Tad Devine who added that when the Vermont Senator looked at the photo he said "Yes, that indeed is me."  Sanders was ultimately charged with resisting arrest and fined $25.  Oddly, news of the incident only helps Sanders by bolstering his "man of the people image" as well as his claims of involvement in civil rights activism.

In this current era, where it seems someone famous is in trouble with the law every week (Lindsay Lohan, Justin Bieber, Nick Carter etc.), Sanders seems an unlikely addition to that ever growing group.  Ironically, there are still a few news-making celebrities who have managed to stay clean.  Here is a list of 5 who were never arrested, but could have been.

Even though the 43-year-old actress has been in an American sitcom for over 6 years and acted in several American films before that, it seems the Golden Globe nominee for Modern Family has yet to shake the thick accent.  Of cours,e given that she's made a high-paying career out of it, perhaps it's better and on purpose she doesn't.

It turns out the Kardashian matriarch is also a cougar, at least since she started dating Corey Gamble.  After her split from Bruce, now Caitlyn Jenner, the then 59-year-old momager of her children began dating the then 33-year-old manager of Justin Bieber. Despite the over 25 year difference between the two, they are reportedly still together and happy.

Fortunately, the 31-year-old Prism songstress has a good enough voice to prove she is where she is because of her talent, not her attributes.  However, truth be known, her well-proportioned bosoms are literally a "Teenage Dream."

If there was a dance police, her performance on last season's Dancing with the Stars would have given the 62-year-old Queen of Funk life in prison.  An ironic example of good singer/bad dancer.

When the 35-year-old reality star walks into a room any chair could be her next victim. No doubt if they could talk they would scream "OWWWWWW!" when the KUWTK star sat on them. Of course, the sound of their discomfort would of course be drowned out by, well...you know.
