Bollywood King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy in shooting his upcoming film, Raees. Now there are reports that he is being considered to play the main lead in Kabir Khan's first film, which he will be directing with a Chinese production house.
The ace director, Kabir, who is currently busy with two of his untitled projects, one with his Ek Tha Tiger star Salman Khan and the other with Bollywood's very own 'demi god' Hrithik Roshan, says developments are underway as to who among one of the topmost B-Town stars will play the lead in his Indo-Chinese film. Ajit Thakur of Trinity Pictures banner is going to produce the film and said that it's the demand of the story that the lead character will travel to China. The producer was quoted by Mumbai Mirror as responding:
"It's a human drama, a journey film with a story which demands that the character travels from India to China."
The yet-to-be-titled film to be directed by Kabir requires one of the A-listers of Bollywood to star alongside a Chinese leading lady. Kabir, who currently has his hands full with these three movies,has yet to approach Shah Rukh, Salman, Hrithik or Aamir Khan to play the protagonist in the film.
If Kabir will be able to sign Shah Rukh to do this untitiled film, then it will be Shah Rukh's first collaboration with the director, who earlier worked with stars like Salman and John Abrahm.
Kabir stated that the story is still in the scripting stage and it will take some time to go into production. Kabir, however, revealed that he is not sure which story he wants to work at this moment. The Phantom director was quoted by Catch News as:
"I haven't decided which one will go on the floors first."
On the other hand, Shah Rukh's Fan is already creating a lot of buzz in Indian Film industry, based on the plot of the story and the VFX which Shah Rukh's own VFX company has used. The film is slated for release on April 18, 2016.
