Pamela Anderson said she's been offered a small part in the movie reboot of Baywatch, the beach-lifeguard series which skyrocketed her to fame in the 1990s.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight Canada, the blonde bombshell confirmed rumors that she'd been offered at least a small appearance in the remake, though not reprising her role (CJ Parker will be played by model Kelly Rohrbach). Anderson revealed she's still not sure whether to take part in the movie or not.
"I haven't turned it down completely yet. But I have turned down what they offered me," said the 48-year-old Anderson, "I haven't even read the script. I have no idea what it's about. ... Baywatch was such a huge part of my life. And really they're trying to do an hommage and, you know, it's an honor to have them to want me to be a part of it so bad."
Before being cast as CJ in 1992, she served as the original "Tool Time Girl" in Tim Allen's sitcom Home Improvement, a role she left to save lives on the beaches of Los Angeles.
Anderson stayed on Baywatch for five seasons, and she even reprised the role years later in the reunion movie Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding.
In the film remake, Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson's will play Mitch Buchannan, the character David Hasselhoff originated on the small screen over 25 years ago. Zac Efron is co-starring as Matt Brody, with Alexandra Daddario playing Summer and Ilfenesh Hadera as Johnson's love interest, Stephanie.
The movie, which just began filming and is set for a 2017 release date, is so far being advertised as an R-Rated comedy, as opposed to the 90s show, which was a drama.
