After 'Kapoor & Sons' Will Alia Bhatt Romance Ranveer Singh in Intense Romantic Film?

Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar is gearing up for the next venture and if rumors are to be believed, then the director has roped in Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt for her film. While Ranveer has agreed to be a part of the project, Bhatt has yet to confirm her dates availability for the Akhtar's intense romantic film, since she is busy promoting her upcoming film Kapoor & Sons and also shooting for English Vinglish fame director Gauri Shinde's next venture with Shah Rukh Khan.

Unlike her last comedy-drama film Dil Dhadakne Do, Akhtar intends to explore a different genre. As revealed by Spotboye, Akhtar's next untitled project is going to be an intense romantic drama. While speculations were rife about Singh and Ranbir Kapoor starring in the same frame in Akhtar's film since it's a two-hero project. However, nothing has been confirmed by Kapoor.

The film's commitment between Bhatt and Akhtar has so far been verbal. But Bhatt will be signing up the project. Sharing about Bhatt and Akhtar's off screen bonding, a close friend of Bhatt revealed to Spotboye that Bhatt admire Akhtar a lot. It is just a matter of time when the duo will sign a film together.

"Zoya and Alia get along really well. It's a matter of accommodating the film, which Alia should be able to manage given her admiration for Zoya as a filmmaker which she has often been vocal about."

As Bhatt and Singh share the same peppiness and vibrant energy, it would be interesting to see them together. If they are joined by Ranbir, then it would surely be a treat. According to Bollywood Hungama, Bhatt and Singh have also worked together in a commercial for an online portal. Fans now really want to see their stars for a longer time. Apart from Shinde's film, Bhatt might also be featured opposite Hrithik Roshan in the third installment of Aashiqui. Currently, Singh is busy shooting for Yash Raj Films' Befikre featuring Vaani Kapoor.
