Fifty Shades Darker is all set to release on February 10, 2017. However, it looks like there will be some delay in the project as there are casting rumors that the lead stars, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson might get fired from the sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey.
The much-awaited sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey, which created a storm at the box-office in 2015, is prepared to make a comeback once again in the erotic romance between Anastasia Steel (played by Johnson) and Christian Grey (played by Dornan). Amidst of all the leaked pictures from the Fifty Shades Darker set, it looks like the author of the book, EL James is not too happy with Dakota and Jamie's on-screen chemistry and having second thoughts for the cast.
Dornan's dedication towards her newborn child and to save his marriage with Amelia Warner is taking all his energy. That's why he is having a hard time to live as a billionaire Grey, who likes to do BDSM. As reported by Enstarz, if the production team thinks about replacing Jamie, then Johnson has to reshoot a major portion of the film. This might cause a delay in the feature film.
Not only this, a recent report suggests that James had enough of watching her film going flat as she does not see a spark between the lead cast. The 53-year-old British writer is now looking for a lead actor who can step in the shoes of Grey. A source close to the production was quoted by The Sun via Fashion Style as responding:
"Erica needs someone who can step in and make this role their own very quickly."
However, a report from Morning Ledger reported about Dornan's professional difficulties. The 33-year-old star stated that the team behind the feature will not continue filming with him and his co-star Johnson if they find that they both do not have proper chemistry on sets.
Well, nothing is confirmed yet. We just hope that this might just be another rumor.
