Doris Roberts of 'Everybody Loves Raymond' Dead at 90: Celebs Mourn

Hollywood has lost another great actress this week. MStars News has learned that Everybody Loves Raymond star, Doris Roberts passed away at the age of 90. After hearing about her death, celebs mourn the loss of the actress who played Marie Barone, the bossy and nosy mother of Ray Romano.

According to CNN, Roberts' former spokeswoman confirmed her death on Monday. Roberts' son, Michael Cannata revealed that his mother died "peacefully in her sleep of natural causes," on Sunday night.

"Truly the end of an era," actress, Patricia Heaton wrote on Twitter. "My wonderful TV mother-in-law and ("Everybody Loves Raymond") nemesis Doris Roberts was a consummate professional from whom I learned so much. She was funny and tough and loved life, living it to the fullest."

Full House actors also mourned the loss of Roberts. She played Danny Tanner's mother on the 90's hit show.

Producer, director, actor and comedian, Tyler Perry also remembered Roberts. "God thank you for 90 years of Doris Roberts on this planet. You left us laughing!!! You left us better!! Travel well my beautiful friend," Perry, who directed Roberts in his hit film, Madea's Witness Protection, wrote.

Comedian, Jackee Harry also tweeted how much Roberts was one of her favorites.

Roberts was married twice, she leaves behind her daughter-in-law, Jane, and three grandchildren, Kelsey, Andrew and Devon. RIP.
