It looks like Finn Jones' Danny Rand will be up against some very powerful enemies in Iron Fist. Just a few days after Lord of the Rings actor David Wenham was confirmed as Harold Meachum, the Netflix series has just added two more members of his family with 90210 actress Jessica Stroup and Banshee star Tom Pelphrey!
According to Variety, Stroup will portray Joy Meachum while Pelphrey will play her uncle Ward. In the Iron Fist comic books, the Meachums think that the martial artist is responsible for Harold's death and together, they seek out Iron Fist for revenge. Joy also has a rather complicated relationship with Danny.
Stroup has appeared in numerous TV shows including Grey's Anatomy, Reaper and True Blood. She is also considered a scream queen who has been featured in films like The Hills Have Eyes 2 and Prom Night.
Pelphrey is best known for his role as Jonathan Randall in the soap opera Guiding Light. He also played Mick Dante in As The World Turns.

This doesn't mean that Danny will not have any allies in Iron Fist. It was previously announced that Star Wars: The Force Awakens's Jessica Henwick will appear as Colleen Wing in the Netflix series. Henwick is also remembered as the dangerous Nymeria Sand in Game of Thrones, although her character has never interacted with Jones' Ser Loras Tyrell.
Iron Fist has officially started filming in New York City, and a barefooted Jones has been photographed on the streets shooting a scene. The series is expected to air on Netflix by 2017.
